Our Mission

West Michigan Latin Dance (WMLD) exists to grow and unite the Latin dance community across Michigan. We host 8–9 events each month, creating spaces where newcomers and experienced dancers share the same floor, the same music, and the same welcome.

Our mission is to keep people connected, build relationships, and elevate everyone’s dancing — while honoring the culture that makes Latin dance thrive. What started in Grand Rapids is only the beginning.
